The Greenbrier Express (GBX) train departs from the restored, historically important town of Cass and closely follows the clear, free-flowing Greenbrier River to the small mountain village of Durbin. The ride upriver to Durbin passes through a secluded wilderness portion of the 950,000-acre Monongahela National Forest featuring beautiful scenes of forested mountains at each turn of the river.

 

Motor coach to Canaan Valley Resort. Check-in to the resort before dinner and show at Gandy Dancer Dinner Theater in Elkins, WV.

 

Buffet breakfast at the hotel and travel to Cass, WV to board the Greenbrier Express Railroad for a 5.5 hour roundtrip trip with lunch included. Time at the Visitor Center before motor coach home.
