Motor coach to Pittsburgh airport and flights to San Antonio. Check-in to your hotel on the Riverwalk and dinner this evening.
The history of San Antonio comes alive with a sightseeing tour of the city. Visit to Mission San Jose, shopping at El Mercado (an authentic Mexican Marketplace) and visit The Alamo - the famous fort where Davy Crockett and other "Texans" fought against Mexico. Tour the museum and see the IMAX movie Alamo -The Price of Freedom.
Travel through the Hill Country's rolling landscape to the Y.O. Ranch, a 40,000-acre ranch home to exotic wildlife. See up to 55 different species roaming the ranch including giraffes, African wildebeests and antelope. Enjoy lunch at the ranch before tour and tasting at Kerrville Hills Winery.
Climb aboard the Texas Eagle for a right through the heart of Texas to Austin. Then, climb aboard an Austin "Duck" for a sightseeing tour by land and by water of Austin's downtown area. Check-in to your Austin hotel this evening.
Visit the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum which preserves the history and inspiring appreciation of the Texas Rangers. The next stop is the Magnolia Market - where you can garden and shop like Chip and Joanna Gaines. Stop at The Silos Baking Company for a sweet treat before visiting the Kiepersol Estates Winery and distillery for a tour and tasting.
Travel to Palestine to board the historic Texas State Railroad. Visit the locomotive museum before taking your seat in the Sky High Scenic Dome Car to travel through the East Texas Piney Woods region. Travel to Fort Worth for a two-night stay.
Climb aboard one of the Grapevine Vintage Railroad's for a ride through history. Follow the old Cotton belt Route from Grapevine to the historic Fort Worth Stockyards - where you will see the "drovers" bring their herd of Texas Longhorns through town. Tonight is an interactive murder mystery at the Texas Star Dinner Theater before flights home from Dallas the next day.
